联邦佩尔助学金

The 联邦佩尔助学金 Program provides need-based grants to low-income undergraduates and certain post-baccalaureate students (证书的学生) to promote access to post-secondary education, funded by the United States Federal Government and administered by the U.S. 教育部. 

Students may not receive the 联邦佩尔助学金 funds from more than one school at a time.

    • Student’s must be in an eligible 凭证 Program, and taking 佩尔助学金 凭证 Eligible Classes.

    • Student’s must be working on their 1st 凭证

重要提示:

Your award is dependent on your Expected Family Contributions (EFC), you can obtain that information on your FAFSA应用程序. The higher your EFC the less Pell award you will received and more units of enrolled is required for disbursement.

Students are limited to a total of six full-time (600%) of 佩尔助学金 eligibility, also known as the Lifetime Eligibility Used (LEU). The calculation of this total includes previous semesters at CSUF, as well as any attendance at any other institutions (including community colleges) where a 佩尔助学金 was paid.

支付 for 联邦佩尔助学金

凭证 students 佩尔助学金 disbursement occurs after the census date for the term -- established by Admission and Records -- when your units are locked. At that time your courses are evaluated to ensure you are eligible for a disbursement. If you are taking prerequisites courses, those are not counted as eligible for a 佩尔助学金 disbursement.

*在某些情况下 a student enrolled in less than 12 units may lose eligibility for his/her 佩尔助学金, as the EFC's in the higher end of the 佩尔助学金 range does not allow for less than full-time enrollment. 

佩尔助学金 recipients who change enrollment status - adding or dropping courses - will have their eligibility recalculated based on their enrollment status as of the University's census date for each semester, typically the beginning of the fourth week of class.

同样的, 佩尔助学金 fund will be recalculated for students who drop classes and the revised 佩尔助学金 will be based on "census" enrollment status. 在某些情况下, this recalculation may results in repayment of fund already disbursed as a result of the reduction in units following the disbursement of 佩尔助学金 funds.
